In February issue of the Readers Digest, Daniel Wallace, the author of the book "Yes Man" and the movie starring Jim Carey was interviewed.
He said his concept of his book "Yes Man" came out when his girlfriend broke up with him and when his friends invited him, he will always says no. Then one time he met a mystery Indian who advised that to come out of his malaise is to always say "yes" in every request. Then he tried it and after six months, he has a car he did'nt want, travelled to places because of an advertisement and the biggest "Yes" of all is finding himself married to lizzie who gave him free ticket to Edinburgh festival.
This is when he realizes that the "yes" word open up changes and "no" is a dead end. We should try to always says "yes" to everything because how do you know what the right thing to do is?
